History

The Berimbot emerged in 2005 with the idea of a berimbau playing unattended.

NIn the early part of the project, beyond the engineer Ivan Monsão, two undergraduated students
took part, Erico Santos, mechanical engineering and Fúlvio Serpenitini, electrical engineering .

Two professionals participated as consultants in this project: Ivan Huol, musical producer and
professor Luis Carlos Santana, also known in the capoeira circles as Master “Orelha”.

The project was completed in 2010 by Ivan Monsão and Paulo Libonati.

The Berimbot project was financed entirely from own resources.

The Beribot has patent required.
